The Mesa Education Foundation (MEF) is a nonprofit public benefit corporation dedicated to providing services, materials, facilities and equipment to maintain, improve and enhance science and arts educational opportunities at Mesa Union School, a K-8 public institution comprised of children residing in the California cities of Somis, Camarillo, Oxnard, Port Hueneme and Ventura.
Programs supported by Foundation funds include instruction in the areas of art, vocal and instrumental music, and drama. Students are also treated to assemblies, such as Readers’ Theater, and other live music and cultural presentations. Funds are provided to purchase science equipment, enrichment supplies, and for classroom technology.
