Mesa Union School District is pleased to introduce its new two-way communication system with families. This past summer, the district partnered with ParentSquare to engage parents and guardians in everyday communication.

ParentSquare lets parents choose how and when they want to be notified - web, mobile app, email, text, or phone call. Moreover, the message reaches everyone the way they prefer, primarily in English or Spanish. The platform can add additional languages as well.

The new platform provides easy posting, private messaging and chat with parents, calendar events, photo and file sharing, directory, groups, searchable archives, RSVPs, and so much more.

One teacher recently reported, "I have used the Remind app for years, and I'm happy to switch over to Parent Square. It has been well received by the parents/guardians so far, and is easy for me to use, both as a teacher, but also as the (new) Yearbook adviser. Great start to the year!"

Currently, all families should be receiving information in their default mode - via email of phone call. Most messages have been going out as posts and come across a users email, mobile app or text. Parents can reply back to posts, too. To maximize the way you receive information from your school and the district, you can sign into ParentSquare at https://www.parentsquare.com/signin and customize your features.
